===South Atlantic League (1961β1962)=== Six years after the loss of the Tars and Merrimacs, the Portsmouth-Norfolk Tides were established as members of the [[Class A (baseball)|Class A]] [[South Atlantic League (1904β1963)|South Atlantic League]].<ref name=BRNorfolk/> They played some home games at [[Frank D.
