The novel was adapted as a graphic novel, ''Mort: The Big Comic'', published in 1994.

The novel has been adapted by Robin Brooks for [[BBC Radio Four]]. An English musical adaptation of ''Mort'' was presented in [[Guildford]] in August 2008 by [[Youth Music Theatre UK]].
