===2010 census===
At the 2010 [[census]], there were 617 people, 251 households and 165 families residing in the city. The [[population density]] was {{convert|1209.8|/mi2|/km2|disp=preunit|people&nbsp;|people|}}. There were 277 housing units at an average density of {{convert|543.1|/mi2|/km2|disp=preunit|units&nbsp;|units|}}. The racial make-up of the city was 89.0% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.2% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 1.3% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.2% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 6.6% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 2.8% from two or more races. The average household size was 2.46 and the average family size was 2.92.<ref name ="wwwcensusgov"/>

The median age was 42.7 years. 21.6% of residents were under the age of 18, 7.7% were between the ages of 18 and 24, 23.7% were from 25 to 44, 33.7% were from 45 to 64 and 13.1% were 65 years of age or older. The sex makeup of the city was 50.2% male and 49.8% female.<ref name ="wwwcensusgov"/>

At the 2000 census, there were 607 people, 225 households, and 166 families residing in the city. The population density was {{convert|1,274.9|/mi2|/km2|disp=preunit|people&nbsp;|people|}}. There were 262 housing units at an average density of {{convert|550.3|/mi2|/km2|disp=preunit|units&nbsp;|units|}}. The racial make-up of the city was 96.71% White, 0.33% African American, 0.99% Native American, 0.33% Asian, 0.33% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]] and 1.32% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino people of any race were 10.05% of the population.<ref name ="wwwcensusgov"/>

There were 225 households, of which 39.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.3% were married couples living together, 11.6% had a female householder with no husband present and 25.8% were non-families. 20.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.70 and the average family size was 3.07.<ref name ="wwwcensusgov"/>

29.7% of the population were under the age of 18, 9.2% from 18 to 24, 29.5% from 25 to 44, 23.2% from 45 to 64 and 8.4% were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females, there were 109.3 males. For every 100 females aged 18 and over, there were 99.5 males.<ref name ="wwwcensusgov"/>
