== Municipal council ==
In the [[2018 Swedish local elections|2018 municipal election]], no bloc was able to gain control of the executive, a five-party minority coalition consisting of the four [[Alliance (Sweden)|Alliance]] parties and local party FörNyaLund was formed as a result.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.sydsvenskan.se/2018-10-11/bekraftat-alliansen-och-fnl-ska-styra-lund|title=Bekräftat: Alliansen och FNL ska styra Lund|language=sv|date=2018-10-11|publisher=[[Sydsvenskan]]}}</ref> Philip Sandberg of the [[Liberals (Sweden)|Liberals]] heads the executive.
