==Transportation== Lineville is located on [[U.S. Route 65 in Iowa|U.S. Route 65]]. The city is served by the Union Pacific Railroad, which was originally the CRI&P (Rock Island). Rail traffic has increased considerably on this line since it was purchased by the Union Pacific.
