===Treaties===
The divestiture of Germany's overseas colonies, along with three territories disentangled from its European homeland area (the [[Free City of Danzig]], the [[Klaipėda Region|Memel Territory]], and the [[Territory of the Saar Basin|Saar]]), was accomplished in the [[Treaty of Versailles]] (1919), with the territories being allotted among the Allies on 7 May of that year. Ottoman territorial claims were first addressed in the [[Treaty of Sèvres]] (1920) and finalised in the [[Treaty of Lausanne]] (1923). The Ottoman territories were allotted among the Allied Powers at the [[San Remo conference]] in 1920.
