Seymour has been married and divorced four times. Her first marriage was to [[Michael Attenborough]]. She was then briefly married to Geoffrey Planer.

In 1981, Seymour married David Flynn. The marriage produced two children: Katherine Flynn (born on 7 February 1982) and Sean Flynn (born on 31 July 1985).
