Greenfield's main school district is Rockford Area School District #883.<ref>{{cite web |url=https://www.rockford.k12.mn.us}}</ref> The school district includes an elementary school (preschool to 4th grade), a middle school (grades 5th through 8th), and a high school (grades 9th through 12th).
