The larger sulci and gyri mark the divisions of the cortex of the cerebrum into the [[lobes of the brain]].<ref name="Roberts"/> There are four main lobes: the [[frontal lobe]], [[parietal lobe]], [[temporal lobe]], and [[occipital lobe]].
