On 1 April 2003, in [[Sturgis, Michigan]], seven people placed signs through the town that read: "All your base are belong to us. You have no chance to survive make your time." They claimed to be playing an [[April Fools' Day|April Fools']] joke, but most people who saw the signs were unfamiliar with the phrase.
