His first marriage in [[Cairo]] on 19 February 1895 was to [[Ikbal Hanim]] ([[Istanbul]], [[Ottoman Empire]], 22 October 1876{{snd}}[[Istanbul]], 10 February 1941). They divorced in 1910 and had six children, two sons and four daughters:
