The Visigoths are given a settlement area in Illyricum and their king is appointed ''magister militum per Illyricum''. * [[Gildonic War|Gildonic Revolt]]: [[Gildo]], a Berber serving as a high-ranking official (''comes'') in [[Mauretania]], rebels against the [[Western Roman Empire]].
