*[[February 12]] – ''An Experiment In Modern Music'' concert at [[Aeolian Hall (Manhattan)]] – premiere of Gershwin's ''[[Rhapsody in Blue]]''.
*[[February 15]] – The inaugural concert of microtonal music in Mexico City by the Grupo Sonido 13, directed by [[Julián Carrillo]], including the premiere of ''[[Preludio a Colón]]'' and four other of Carrillo's compositions, along with several works by his students, {{ill|Rafael Adame|es}}, Elvira Larios and Soledad Padilla.
