Wikipedia Zero was made available in Iraq and Afghanistan. On 29 April 2017, [[Block of Wikipedia in Turkey|online access to Wikipedia was blocked across all language editions in Turkey]] by the Turkish authorities. This block lasted until 15 January 2020, as the [[Judicial system of Turkey|court of Turkey]] ruled that the block violated human rights.
