=== Shakedia Jones === Olympian and All-American track star Shakedia Jones (1979–Present) was born and raised in Waukegan. Jones earned nine State titles in high school, the most in Illinois history, and went on to compete in the Junior Olympics her junior and senior year. Jones was an All-American sprinter at [[University of California, Los Angeles|UCLA]] and was a member of the US Olympic Team at the [[2000 Summer Olympics|2000 Sydney Olympics]].
