In addition to the annual New Year's Day Rose Bowl game and a [[College Football Playoff]] semi-final game every three years, the stadium is the home field for the [[UCLA Bruins]] [[UCLA Bruins football|football team]] and has hosted five [[Super Bowl]]s and many [[BCS National Championship]] games. The Rose Bowl stadium was the home ground for the [[Los Angeles Galaxy]] of [[Major League Soccer]] from the team's inception in 1996 until in 2003, it moved into the [[soccer-specific stadium|soccer-specific]] Home Depot Center (now [[Dignity Health Sports Park]]) in [[Carson, California|Carson]], California.
