The Parliament of Great Britain consisted of the [[House of Lords]] (an unelected upper house of the [[Lords Spiritual]] and [[Lords Temporal|Temporal]]) and the [[House of Commons of Great Britain|House of Commons]], the lower chamber, which was elected periodically.
