== Education == Chinatown and the Lower East Side generally have a higher rate of college-educated residents than the rest of the city {{as of|2018|lc=y}}. A plurality of residents age 25 and older (48%) have a college education or higher, while 24% have less than a high school education and 28% are high school graduates or have some college education.
