The county serves as a junction point for several US highways: [[U.S. Route 82 in Arkansas|US Highway 82]] (US 82) crosses the county from west to east. This highway runs across South Arkansas, providing access to population centers including [[El Dorado, Arkansas|El Dorado]], [[Magnolia, Arkansas|Magnolia]], and [[Texarkana, Arkansas|Texarkana]].
