== Awards and honors ==
Ebert received many awards during his long and distinguished career as a film critic and television host. In 2003, Ebert was honored by the [[American Society of Cinematographers]], winning a Special Achievement Award. In 2005, Ebert became the first film critic to receive a star on the [[Hollywood Walk of Fame]], for his work on television.
