The town is served by [[High Wycombe railway station]] on the [[Chiltern Main Line]], with services operated by [[Chiltern Railways]] from [[Marylebone railway station|London Marylebone]] to [[Aylesbury railway station|Aylesbury]], [[Oxford railway station|Oxford]], [[Stratford-upon-Avon railway station|Stratford-upon-Avon]], [[Birmingham Snow Hill railway station|Birmingham Snow Hill]] and [[Kidderminster railway station|Kidderminster]].<ref>[https://www.chilternrailways.co.uk/routes-and-destinations/high-wycombe High Wycombe] Chiltern Railways</ref><ref>[http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/ldbboard/dep/HWY High Wycombe] National Rail Enquiries</ref> The station is the busiest in South Buckinghamshire. Express services travel to London in 23 minutes, slower trains take up to 45 minutes.

The [[Wycombe Railway]] ran from High Wycombe to [[Maidenhead railway station|Maidenhead]] on the [[Great Western Main Line]] through [[Loudwater railway station|Loudwater]] and [[Bourne End railway station|Bourne End]]. However, it was a victim of the [[Beeching cuts]] with the Wycombe to Bourne End section closed in May 1970.
