* As manager of [[Preston North End F.C.|Preston North End]] in 1888–89, [[William Sudell]] won the inaugural [[Football League Division One|First Division]] title, going unbeaten in the league (22 games), and won the [[FA Cup]] without conceding a goal in that competition.
* [[Jock Stein]] won the double on nine occasions with [[Celtic F.C.|Celtic]] between 1967 and 1977: four doubles of the [[List of Scottish football champions|Scottish league championship]] and the [[Scottish Cup]], three doubles of the [[List of Scottish football champions|Scottish league championship]] and the [[Scottish League Cup]] and two [[Treble (association football)|Trebles]].
* [[Alex Ferguson|Sir Alex Ferguson]] won the double on four occasions; with [[Aberdeen F.C.|Aberdeen]] in 1983–84, and with [[Manchester United F.C.|Manchester United]] in 1993–94, 1995–96 and 1998–99.
