[[WAVE 3]], an [[NBC]] [[network affiliate|affiliate]], was Kentucky's first TV station. Another prominent TV station is [[American Broadcasting Company|ABC]] affiliate [[WHAS 11]], formerly owned by the [[:Category:Bingham family|Bingham family]] (who also owned ''[[The Courier-Journal|The Courier Journal]]''), which hosts the regionally notable annual fundraiser, the [[WHAS Crusade for Children]].
