In recent years, average temperatures in Lowell have ranged from a low of {{convert|14.4|°F}} in January to a high of {{convert|83.8|°F}} in July, although a record low of {{convert|-29|°F}} was recorded in December 1989 and a record high of {{convert|104|°F}} was recorded in June 1988. Average monthly precipitation ranged from {{convert|1.75|in}} in February to {{convert|4.69|in}} in June.
