On October 31, 2022, a ''Friday the 13th'' prequel streaming series was announced, titled ''Crystal Lake''.  It will be written and executive produced by [[Bryan Fuller]] and Victor Miller, along with executive producers [[Marc Toberoff]] and Rob Barsamian.
