===Primary and secondary education===

The public [[Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation]] (EVSC) consists of five traditional high schools, 11 middle schools, and 20 elementary schools. The EVSC also maintains a fully-online school, an alternative high school for students with individualized educational plans, a trade and technical [[magnet school]] that also serves the wider [[Southwestern Indiana]] area, and a nontraditional [[STEM]]-focused high school. 

In addition to the public schools, there are two parochial high schools, one charter higher school, and two private schools. Catholic education is administered by the [[Roman Catholic Diocese of Evansville]].
