===Public transportation=== The city is served by the [[NJ Transit]] [[Main Line (NJ Transit)|Main Line]] [[commuter rail]] service to [[Hoboken Terminal|Hoboken]], with [[Paterson station|the station]] located in [[Downtown Paterson]]. Plans are being developed for a new commuter rail service on the existing [[New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway|NYS&W]] line, which is currently single-tracked.
