===Public transportation===

Private, independent jitney buses ([[guagua (minibus)|guaguas]] or [[Dollar vans in the New York metropolitan area|dollar vans]]) connect Paterson with neighboring communities along Route 4 and provide transportation to and from the Port Authority Bus Terminal and George Washington Bridge Bus Station in Manhattan.
