The city government manages [[tap water]] and [[sewage]] services, which includes treatment and delivery. Monroe's tap water is purchased from the City of Everett and sourced from [[Lake Chaplain]] in the [[Sultan River]] basin, which travels via a pipeline to the north of the city.
