[[Lancaster Regional Airport]] is a public-use [[airport]] located two miles southeast of the central business district of Lancaster. The city has public transportation, and  is not a member of [[Dallas Area Rapid Transit]] (DART). Crescent Medical Center Lancaster is an 84-bed acute-care general hospital located at 2600 West Pleasant Run Road. The hospital was formerly known as the Medical Center at Lancaster, which closed in 2008.
