In 1954, the Radio and Film Commission of the [[Methodist Church of Great Britain|British Methodist Church]], in co-operation with [[J. Arthur Rank]], produced the film ''[[John Wesley (film)|John Wesley]]''. In 2009, a more ambitious feature film, ''[[Wesley (film)|Wesley]]'', was released by Foundery Pictures, starring [[Burgess Jenkins]] as Wesley. The film was directed by the award-winning filmmaker John Jackman.{{sfn |IMDb |2019}}
