The [[Iran|Islamic Republic of Iran]] uses historical negationism against [[Religious Minorities in Iran|religious minorities]] in order to maintain legitimacy and relevancy of the regime. One example is the regime's approach to the [[Baháʼí Faith in Iran|Baháʼí community]].
