This is similar to Wikisource's message - there is varation in the individual projects' site notices. I think that [[User:Mirwin|Mirwin]]'s description is more accurate, more informative and more interesting. And it is less confusing (or did you really mean that our goal is to be free of Wikiversity as in "Wikiversity-free learning!")  [[User:Robert Elliott|Robert Elliott]] 15:28, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

::I don't think Mirwin's description is more accurate, since Wikimedia isn't Wikiversity's "sponsor", but rather Wikiversity exists as a part of the social ''movement'' of Wikimedia - all devoted to "freeing" access to information, knowledge, media etc. No, I don't mean "Wikiversity-free learning" :-), but if there's a better wording, it can be easily changed.
