[[University of Massachusetts Dartmouth]] has two branches in the city: the Professional and Continuing Education Center, located at 139 South Main Street, and the Advanced Technical & Manufacturing Center at the Narrows, on the former site of the Kerr Mills. [[Bristol Community College]], founded in 1965, is a two-year college offering associate degrees as well transfer programs to four-year institutions. [[Eastern Nazarene College]] offers Adult Studies/LEAD classes in Fall River as well.
