The print collection has more than 500,000 objects, covering: posters, greetings cards, bookplates, as well as a comprehensive collection of [[old master print]]s from the Renaissance to the present, including works by Rembrandt, [[William Hogarth]], [[Giovanni Battista Piranesi]], [[Canaletto]], [[Karl Friedrich Schinkel]], [[Henri Matisse]] and Sir [[William Nicholson (artist)|William Nicholson]].
