===Transportation=== Murfreesboro is served by [[Nashville International Airport]] ([[International Air Transport Association airport code|IATA code]] BNA), [[Smyrna Airport (Tennessee)|Smyrna Airport]] (MQY) and [[Murfreesboro Municipal Airport]] (MBT). The city also benefits from several [[highway]]s running through the city, including [[Interstate 24 in Tennessee|Interstates 24]] and [[Interstate 840 (Tennessee)|840]]; U.S. Routes [[U.S. Route 41 in Tennessee|41]], [[U.S. Route 70S (Tennessee)|70S]], and [[U.S. Route 231 (Tennessee)|231]]; and State Routes [[Tennessee State Route 1|1]], [[Tennessee State Route 2|2]], [[Tennessee State Route 10|10]], [[Tennessee State Route 96|96]], [[Tennessee State Route 99|99]], and [[Tennessee State Route 268|268]]. Industry also has access to north–south [[Rail transport|rail service]] with the rail line from Nashville to Chattanooga.
