====Starvation====
In 2021 a massive die-off of [[seagrass]] along the [[Atlantic Ocean|Atlantic]] coast of [[Florida]] left manatees without enough food to eat. As a result of this [[ecological disaster]] Florida's manatees began dying at an alarming rate, largely from [[starvation]].<ref>{{cite web |title=Manatees are starving in Florida.
