Orwell's ''Homage'' finally received publication in Spain during the early 1970s, although much its content was suppressed and distorted by the [[Censorship in Spain|Francoist censors]]. It received a second Spanish edition in 1978, after the approval of the [[Constitution of Spain|Spanish Constitution]], but it was not until 2007 that an uncensored, comprehensive edition of the book was published in Spain.{{Sfn|Martín Moruno|2011|pp=36-37}}
