===Privatization===
Garuda Indonesia had announced that its subsidiary GMF AeroAsia would be listed in [[Indonesia Stock Exchange]] in 2008. However, due to the [[2008 financial crisis]], GMF delayed [[Initial public offering|IPO]] until 2009. The Ministry of State-Owned Companies (Kementrian BUMN) had also announced a plan to privatize Garuda, which opened the possibility of offering its shares publicly.
