Electricity is also locally generated for export by solar and wind facilities in Pasquotank County by Dominion Energy's Morgan's Corner 110 acre, 20MW solar farm, and Avangrid Renewables' Amazon Wind Farm East 22,000 acre (200 acre footprint), 208MW wind farm. As of June 2016, cable television and Internet is provided by [[Spectrum (brand)]], a result of the merger of Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable, and Bright House Networks. Previously, cable television and internet was provided by Time Warner, which was preceded by [[Adelphia Communications Corporation|Adelphia Communications]].

Pipeline natural gas is provided by [[Piedmont Natural Gas]]. Tank and bottled LP gas are also available through several local suppliers.
