In 1991, the BBC sold the programme's format rights to a Dutch production company IDTV. The programme was renamed ''[[Het Oude Noorden]]'' (Translation: Old North). According to Barbara Jurgen, who re-wrote the scripts for a Dutch audience, he said: "the power of the show is undeniable.
