Singapore's conservative party is the [[People's Action Party]] (PAP), which promotes conservative values in the form of Asian democracy and [[Asian values]].<ref>{{cite book |first=Hussin |last=Mutalib |year=2004 |title=Parties and Politics. The PAP is currently in [[Government of Singapore|government]] and has been since independence in 1965.
