The Carter H. A statue of Harrison is in [[Union Park (Chicago)|Union Park]] on Chicago's [[Near West Side, Chicago|Near West Side]], about two blocks from the [[Ashland Avenue]] home where he lived and was murdered in 1893.<ref name=":0">{{Cite web |title=Carter H. Harrison Historical Marker |url=https://www.hmdb.org/m.asp?m=238151 |access-date=2025-02-19 |website=www.hmdb.org |language=en}}</ref> It was erected in 1907. The plaque on the statue is a quote from Harrison's address to the [[World's Columbian Exposition]], given hours before he died. <ref name=":0" />
