A ZX Spectrum version was planned but cancelled because it would not be ready for the Christmas 1990 release date.<ref name="DOGGame"/> A comic book adaptation of the film was also released in 1990 by [[DC Comics]].<ref name="CBR1990Comic"/> A 2011 four-issue miniseries comic book was released by [[Dynamite Entertainment]].
