==Economy==
The economy of the island is centered in [[Metro Manila]] with [[Makati]] serving as the main economic and financial hub. Major companies such as [[Ayala Corporation|Ayala]], [[Jollibee Foods Corporation]], [[SM Investments|SM Group]], and [[Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company|Metrobank]] are based in the business hubs of [[Makati Central Business District]], [[Ortigas Center]], and [[Bonifacio Global City]].
