[[North Carolina's 44th Senate district]] has covered all of Lincoln, and [[Cleveland County, North Carolina|Cleveland]] counties, along with northwest [[Gaston County, North Carolina|Gaston]] county since 2019. The district overlaps with the [[North Carolina's 97th House district|97th]], [[North Carolina's 110th House district|110th]], and [[North Carolina's 11th House district|111th]] state house districts.

Current representative [[W. Ted Alexander|Ted Alexander]] has represented the district since 2019.
