A 2018 investigation conducted by Greenpeace International found that [[Wilmar International]] (the world's largest palm-oil trader) was still linked to forest destruction in the Indonesian province of [[Papua, Indonesia|Papua]]. The connected company, Gama, run by senior Wilmar executives, had caused deforestation twice the size of [[Paris]].
