=== Sultanate of Darfur ===
[[File:Flag of Darfur.svg|thumb|140x140px|Flag of Darfur]]In 1915, the [[Sultanate of Darfur]] renounced allegiance to the [[Anglo-Egyptian Sudan|Sudanese]] government and aligned with the Ottomans. They were able to contact them via the [[Senusiyya|Senussi]]. Prior to this they were a British ally.
