From 1847 to the opening of the current Carshalton in 1868 [[Wallington railway station]] was named Carshalton. Trains run from the current Carshalton to Victoria (in around 25 minutes), London Bridge and Thameslink stations including Blackfriars, Farringdon and Kings Cross St Pancras. The closest [[London Underground]] station is [[Morden tube station|Morden]].
