====Mace====
The [[ceremonial mace]] of the university is made of stainless steel with silver facings and a shaft of [[Acacia stenophylla|eumung]] timber. On the head are mounted four silver shields, two engraved with the [[Coat of arms of New South Wales|arms of the State of New South Wales]] and two with the original-design arms of the university. A silver [[Waratah]], NSW's floral emblem, surmounts the head.
