[[Potassium bromate]] ({{chem2|KBrO3}}) is a strong oxidizer (E924), used to improve [[dough]] strength and rise height. [[Potassium bisulfite]] ({{chem2|KHSO3}}) is used as a food preservative, for example in [[wine]] and [[beer]]-making (but not in meats).
